Alabama Water Environment Association awarded Harvest-Monrovia Water, Sewer and Fire Protection Authority the 2011 & 2012 Excellence in Domestic Wastewater Treatment Award for the Jeff Road Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Burwell Road Wastewater Treatment Plant in the category of less than 1 MGD Plants . This award was presented at the 2012 & 2013 Annual AWEA Conference in Orange Beach.

2016, 2017, and 2018 AWPCA Best Operated Plant Award - Burwell Road Wastewater Treatment Plant.
