April 6, 2017
As of April 6, 2017 there have been changes in the drought conditions for
the Harvest-Monrovia area. All of Madison County Alabama is classified as Abnormally
Dry conditions by the U.S. Drought Monitor for the Southeast. The Harvest-Monrovia
area is also classified as Abnormally Dry Conditions. Well levels at this point
are near normal levels. However, with the abnormally dry conditions in the area
we have to be mindful that drought conditions may worsen quickly. We will monitor
on a regular basis and keep you informed.
Conservation measures have helped over the course of the drought.
Thanks to all of the customers for conserving. Please continue to conserve as
you have been doing.
